§ 33.006 SUITS AND FEES.
   Any person fined for a violation of any section or provision of the city code or for violation of any ordinance of the city may also be ordered, at the discretion of the court, to pay through the Clerk of the Court a $15 fee to the city to defray the cost of his or her prosecution, so long as the fine and fee combined do not exceed $500. The City Manager is hereby authorized to direct the Clerk of the Court to pay any sums collected on behalf of the city under authority of this subchapter to the Prosecuting Attorney, as part of his or her compensation from the city for his or her efforts expended in the prosecution of said offense.
