Every applicant desiring such license shall file with the City Clerk a written application for such purpose, giving his or her name and place of business, and furnish any evidence required relative to the responsibility, skill, and ability of the applicant to carry on his or her business or trade under such license in accordance with the ordinances, rules, and regulations of the city.
