§ 150.037 ADOPTION OF FIRE CODE.
   (A)   Adoption by reference. That a certain document, three copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Wood River, being marked and designated as the International Fire Code, 2012 Edition, including Appendix Chapters B, C and D as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the Fire Code of the City of Wood River, in the State of Illinois regulating and governing the safeguarding of life and property from fire and explosion hazards arising from the storage, handling, and use of hazardous substances, materials and devices, and from conditions hazardous to life or property in the occupancy of buildings and premises as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefore; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions, and terms of said Fire Code on file in the office of the city are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions, and changes, if any, prescribed in division (B) below.
   (B)   Additions, insertions, and changes. That the following sections are hereby revised:
Section 101.1 Insert: City of Wood River for (name of jurisdiction).
Section 109.3 Insert: misdemeanor, $500, delete for (offense, dollar amount, number of days).
Section 111.4 Insert: $50 and $500 for (dollar amount in two locations).
   (C)   Geographic limits. That the geographic limits referred to in certain sections of the 2012 International Fire Code are hereby established as follows:
Section 903 Insert Where automatic sprinkler systems are required, a flashing, strobing, rotating beacon must be installed on the exterior of the building above the Fire Department Connection.
Section 3204.3.1.1 Insert to be determined by Fire Chief on a case by case basis for (jurisdiction to specify).
Section 3404.2.9.5.1 Insert to be determined by Fire Chief on a case by case basis for (jurisdiction to specify).
Section 3406.2.4.4 Insert to be determined by Fire Chief on a case by case basis for (jurisdiction to specify).
Section 3804.2 Insert to be determined by Fire Chief on a case by case basis for (jurisdiction to specify).
