No person, firm, or corporation shall conduct an auction, yard, or garage sale without first obtaining a permit therefor from the City Clerk. Applications for such permits shall be made in writing to the City Clerk and shall state the date, time, and address of the proposed sale and the name of the person, firm, or corporation responsible for the sale activity.
