§ 97.04 CONTROL AND FINES FOR ALARMS.
The Chiefs shall maintain records of all burglar and fire alarms received by telecommunications. Each alarm shall be analyzed to determine if the alarm was false or non-false. When a false alarm has resulted in the dispatch of fire, police, or emergency medical services, the occupancy property owner/business owner/manager responsible for that alarm system shall provide the respective Chief with a plan to eliminate future false or nuisance alarms. Where the person does not or cannot provide a plan to eliminate future false alarms, the Chief may order the alarm system disconnected from the communication or monitoring center. Dependent on the occupancy type this may result in the occupancy completing documented scheduled fire watch or walkthrough.
