§ 96.32 BOND.
   In lieu of paying the city the $250 or the amount necessary to restore the street surface to its original condition, whatever amount is set by the Director of Public Services, the applicant may elect to file a bond with the City Clerk in the sum of $15,000 and a $100 fee, conditioned to insure that the applicant will restore the surface to its original condition subject to the approval of the Director of Public Services. Such bond shall have as surety a corporation licensed to do business in the state as a surety company.
