(A) Each Council member shall receive as compensation and payment for the performance of his or her duties and services as such Council member the sum of $300 payable on the first of each month following such service.
(B) (1) Council members shall receive additional compensation of $25 for each regularly scheduled Council meeting and special Council meeting attended by said Council member when roll call is taken. Roll call will be used to assure attendance at said meeting.
(2) Compensation will not be paid for work sessions, closed sessions, or retreats.
