§ 31.098 ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR.
   (A)   Appointment. There is hereby created the position of Electrical Inspector. The Inspector shall be appointed by the City Manager.
   (B)   Duties. It shall be the duty of the Electrical Inspector to see to the enforcement of all provisions of the ordinances relating to electrical and electrical equipment; and to make such inspections and perform such tests as may be necessary in the enforcement of such ordinances.
   (C)   Stop order. The Electrical Inspector shall have the power to order work stopped on the construction, alteration, or repair of electrical equipment when such work is being done in violation of any ordinance. Work shall not be resumed after the issuance of such a stop order except on written permission of the Electrical Inspector; provided that if the stop order is an oral one it shall be followed by a written stop order within one hour.
   (D)   Penalty. Any person, firm, or corporation who shall continue work in violation of a stop order of the Electrical Inspector, shall be fined as provided in § 10.99 for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day on which any working violation of such order is done.
