(A) The Mayor shall receive as compensation and pay for the performance of his or her duties and services as Mayor a sum of $500 payable on the first of each month following such service. The Mayor shall receive additional compensation of $25 for each regularly scheduled Council meeting and special Council meeting attended by said Mayor when roll call is taken.
(B) Roll call will be used to assure attendance at said meeting.
(C) Compensation will not be paid for work sessions, closed sessions, or retreats.
