§ 52.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than $50 or more than $750. Each day such violation is committed, or permitted to continue, shall constitute a separate offense. If more than one provision of this chapter is violated, each violation shall be considered a separate offense and shall be punishable as such hereunder.
   (B)   Any person tampering with a meter or any apparatus thereto shall be subject to a civil penalty imposed by the city, not to exceed $750. Said fine shall be imposed as a lien upon the property if it remains unpaid for 60 days.
