§ 52.097 COLLECTION AND DISBURSEMENT OF REVENUES; FUND.
   All revenues from said water system shall be collected solely by the City Treasurer. All moneys so collected shall be deposited by the City Treasurer in such bank as the City Manager, subject to the approval of the City Council, may think proper, to the credit of the city. Said moneys shall be designated as special Water Fund and shall be used for the costs of maintenance, depreciation, repair, and operation of said water supply system. Payment shall be made from said Water Fund by the City Treasurer only upon the proper authority of the City Council, except as otherwise provided in this code.
