Pursuant to the requirements of Title II of the Clean Water Act Amendments (33 U.S.C. §§ 1281 et seq.) and regulations promulgated thereunder, the Illinois Environmental Protection Act as amended (415 ILCS 5 et seq.), the following chapter is hereby enacted by City Council. The regional wastewater treatment facility of the city is hereafter referred to as the “publicly owned treatment works” or as “the POTW”.
