§ 35.05 AUTHORITY TO TAKE EQUIPMENT OUTSIDE CITY.
   (A)   Reciprocal agreements. The Chief of the Fire Department is hereby authorized to make runs or take equipment outside the city limits in response to a call for assistance in the extinguishment of fire; provided, that in cases of such fires outside the city, this shall apply only to calls made by other units of local government having reciprocal agreements of this nature.
   (B)   Assistance. The Chief of the Fire Department of this city shall be and is hereby authorized to ask for assistance from any outside city, when in his or her discretion he or she is of the opinion that such assistance is necessary to preserve property or life within this city.
