(A) It shall be the duty of all officers of the Fire Department of the city to enforce the provisions of this chapter and §§ 92.004(A) and 92.007. To that end the officers of the Fire Department are hereby vested with the usual power and authority of police officers.
(B) They may arrest on view any person who shall be found violating any of the provisions of this chapter and §§ 92.004(A) and 92.007 or any person who shall resist or refuse to obey any such officer in the discharge of his or her duty.
