§ 34.02 APPOINTMENTS.
   The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the City Manager. All other appointments to or promotions within the Police Department shall be made by the City Manager, as provided by 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-4 from an eligibility list provided by the Fire and Police Commissioners.
