The corporate authorities hereby delegate authority to heads of village departments, commissions, or boards to delete, add to, change or create subclasses within object classes budgeted previously to the department, commission, or board, subject to the prior approval of the budget officer; provided, however, that no revision of the budget shall be made which increases the overall budget for any fund without approval by a vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the members of the corporate authorities then holding office. No revision of the budget shall be made increasing the budget in the event funds are not available to effectuate the purpose of the revision. (Ord. 2011-06, 3-24-2011)
