No person or organization shall conduct, participate in, aid, form or start any parade, march, ceremony, show, exhibition, pageant, open air public meeting or procession of any kind, or any similar display, in or upon any street, park, or other public place in the village unless a parade permit shall have been obtained from the chief of police of the village pursuant to this chapter and a special events permit shall have been obtained from the village administrator of the village pursuant to title 3, chapter 4, article D of this code.
The provisions of this section shall not apply to funeral or wedding processions. (Ord. 2007-35, 6-7-2007)
