A. Notice pursuant to this section shall be personally delivered to the owner or shall be forwarded by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested, to the address of the owner of the vehicle. The notice shall include a description of the vehicle, the license plate and vehicle identification number (VIN), if available and legible, and notice that a hearing as to the propriety of the towing will be granted, if requested within seven (7) days of the date of mailing or personal delivery of the notice.
B. A "notice of intent to tow" sticker with the earliest date upon which the tow may take place and the address and phone number of the police department shall be placed on the vehicle. (Ord. 2014-45, 7-24-2014, eff. 9-1-2014)
