6-5-6: PASSENGER AND LOADING AREAS:
   A.   Passenger And Loading Zones:
      1.   The police department shall supervise the places designated by the mayor and board of trustees as passenger zones and loading zones 1 to see that the manner of their use strictly complies with the provisions of this title and the ordinances and resolutions hereafter adopted.
      2.   It shall be unlawful for the driver of a vehicle to stop, stand or park said vehicle for a period of time longer than is necessary for the expeditious loading or unloading of passengers, or for the unloading and delivery or picking up and loading of materials in any place marked as a loading zone. In no case shall the stop for loading and for unloading of materials exceed thirty (30) minutes. The members of the police department may direct the manner of taking up or setting down passengers, or loading or unloading goods in any place. (1976 Code §19-123)
   B.   Backing To Curb: Vehicles used for transportation of merchandise or materials may back into the curb to take on or discharge loads in such manner as may be directed by any police officer of the village. (1976 Code §19-132)
