5-7-1-4: BATTERY:

It shall be unlawful for any person to commit a battery within the village. A person commits battery if he intentionally or knowingly without legal justification and by any means:

A. Causes bodily harm to an individual; or

B. Makes physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature with an individual. (1976 Code §10-4)
