A. Adoption: The customer service and privacy protection law, 220 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/70-501, and all regulations promulgated thereunder, are hereby adopted by reference and made applicable to cable and video providers offering services within the village.
B. Amendments: Any amendment to the cable and video customer protection law or regulations promulgated thereunder that become effective after the effective date hereof shall be incorporated herein by reference and shall be applicable to cable or video providers offering services within the village. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any amendment that makes its provisions optional for adoption by municipalities shall not be incorporated herein without formal action by the village board.
