2-1-1: APPOINTMENTS AND TERMS; CHAIRPERSON; VACANCIES AND REMOVALS:
   A.   Appointments: All appointments to advisory boards and commissions shall be made by the Mayor, subject to the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. On or about May 1 of each year, the Mayor shall, subject to the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees, designate one member of each board and commission as Chairperson for a term ending the following April 30 and until his or her successor has been appointed and has qualified. Notwithstanding anything contained herein to the contrary, the Chairperson of the Police Pension Board shall be appointed as provided by Illinois State law. (1976 Code §2-108; amd.    B.   Terms Of Office: Terms of office for advisory boards and commissions shall be for a three (3) year period.
   C.   Vacancy: In the event a vacancy occurs in a board or commission for any reason, the vacancy shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor, with the concurrence of the Board of Trustees, and shall be for the unexpired term thereof.
   D.   Removal From Office: Any member of a board or commission may for good cause be removed by majority vote of the Mayor and Board of Trustees. (1976 Code §2-108)
   E.   Limitations On Membership: No person shall serve as a member of more than one board or commission. (1976 Code §2-105)
