§ 36.04 CREATION OF BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT.
   There is also hereby created by the city a Board of Zoning Adjustment and Appeals to consist of five members, each to be appointed for a term of three years and removable for cause by the appointing authority upon written charges and after public hearings. The Board of Adjustment shall adopt rules in accordance with the provisions of KRS 100.500 to 100.600. The Board of Adjustment may hear and decide appeals with reference to zoning matters of the city, hear and decide special exceptions to ordinances regarding city zoning and perform other functions authorized by law. The Board of Adjustment shall arrange for a reasonable time for the hearing of appeals, give public notice to the parties in interest and to the public and decide the appeal within a reasonable time. The concurring vote of four members of the Board shall be necessary to reverse, affirm or modify any order or decision of an administrative official. The Board of Adjustment may appoint temporary officers for the purpose of assisting it in carrying out its functions or enforcing its decisions.
