§ 153.01 SIGNS IN THE RIGHTS-OF-WAY PROHIBITED.
   It shall be unlawful to display, or allow to be displayed, or allowed to remain on display, any sign, as defined in the Louisville Metro Ordinances and Regulations thereunder, on public rights-of-way at any location within the city, except those signs specifically exempted under said laws and regulations (such as governmental signs). Provided, however, an “open house” sign and/or a “yard sale” sign designating the address of the event may be displayed on public rights-of-way at any location within the city only during the hours of the said event, not to exceed 24 hours. No balloons or directional arrow signs drawing attention to any such events shall be displayed on public rights-of-way at any location within the city.
