Pursuant to SB 41 and SB 26 of the 1980 Regular Session of the General Assembly of the state, the city hereby elects to retain the organization and structure of its city government existing on July 14, 1980, immediately before the effective date of non-emergency legislation enacted by the 1980 Regular Session of the General Assembly.
