The office of Safety Inspector of the city is hereby created, which office shall be filled by the Chairman of Code Enforcement Board. It shall be the duty of the Safety Inspector to enforce the provisions of said Standards of Safety. He or she shall have authority to enter all buildings and premises, at reasonable times, within the city for the purpose of inspection to determine whether said Safety Standards are being complied with.
