(A) Whenever an individual uses his or her personal vehicle for performing city business, such individual shall be reimbursed therefore on a per mile rate, as described in this section.
(B) In order to receive such reimbursement, such individual must make claim therefore, which claim shall specify the purpose of such trip and the exact mileage thereof. Any such reimbursement shall be limited only to the mileage incurred on behalf of the city.
(C) The amount of reimbursement shall be at the standard mileage rate as provided in the United States Internal Revenue Code and its regulations in effect at the time that the mileage was incurred.
