(A) In the event of a death in the immediate family, employees will receive paid time off as needed up to a maximum of three days.
(B) Immediate family shall be defined as follows: father, mother, husband, wife, children, grandchildren, grandparents, brothers, sisters, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in- law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and step relatives.
(C) Additional unpaid funeral leave will be at the discretion of the Mayor.
(D) In the event of a death of any other relative or close friend, the personal day privilege should be utilized.
