§ 70.50  DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   GOLF CART. 
      (1)   Any conveyance that is:
         (a)   Motor driven, either by gas or electricity;
         (b)   Used to carry passengers or equipment; and
         (c)   Smaller than the types of motor vehicles required to be registered by the bureau of motor vehicles such as a:
            1.   passenger motor vehicle (as defined in I.C. 9-13-2-123);
            2.   Recreational vehicle; or
            3.   Truck (as defined in I.C. 9-13-2-188).
      (2)   The term includes but is not limited to four wheel motor vehicles originally and specifically designed and intended to transport one or more individuals and golf clubs for the purpose of playing the game of golf on a golf course.
      (3)   The term does not include any of the following:
         (a)   An electric personal assistive mobility device (as defined in I.C. 9-13-2-49.3);
         (b)   A motorcycle (as defined in I.C. 9-13-2-108);
         (c)   A motor scooter;
         (d)   A motorized bicycle; or
         (e)   An off-road vehicle.
   STREET. The entire width between the boundaries of every publicly maintained way which is ope and maintained for pubic vehicular travel. The term includes streets and alley.
