1444.18  JOURNEYMAN EXAMINATION CONTENT.
   Examinations shall be practical in character and shall relate to those matters, which fairly test the ability of the applicant to install, alter or service refrigerating systems in a safe and proper manner. The applicant shall attain a pre-determined score in the written examination (as set by the Department of Buildings and Safety Engineering of the City of Detroit) to qualify for a license. Applicants who fail the written examination shall wait at least ninety days before again applying for examination.
   The Department of Buildings and Safety Engineering of the City of Detroit shall have the authority in specific cases to make modification of the waiting period between examinations as will not be contrary to the public interest and so that the spirit of this chapter shall be observed.
