(a) The 2008 edition of the National Electrical Code, as promulgated and published by the National Fire Protection Association, is hereby adopted as part of this chapter and shall govern and be observed and followed in all installations of electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus and fixtures of voltage. Notice is hereby given that complete copies of the National Electrical Code and Technical Amendments are available for inspection by and distribution and sale to the public at the office of the Village Clerk during regular business hours.
(b) References in the 2008 edition of the National Electrical Code to "state" and reference to "(name of state)" shall mean the State of Michigan; references to "municipality" and to "(name of municipality)" shall mean the Village of Wolverine Lake; and references to "local ordinances" shall mean the Code of Ordinances for the Village of Wolverine Lake.
