Pursuant to the authority granted by the Michigan Home Rule Act for Villages, being Act No. 278 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1909 (MCL §§ 78.1 et seq.), and the Stille-Derossett-Hale Single State Construction Code Act, Act No. 230 of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended, along with the State Construction Code composed of the Michigan Residential Code, the Michigan Mechanical Code, the Michigan Plumbing Code, the Michigan Rehabilitation Code, and the Michigan Building Code, and its Appendices, specifically including Appendix G, the Village assumes responsibility for the administration and enforcement of the State Construction Code, as amended, throughout its corporate limits.
