1220.03  MEMBERS; TERM; VACANCIES.
   The Village Planning Commission shall consist of nine members, who shall be qualified electors in the Village of Wolverine Lake, except that up to two members may be non-qualified electors.  The Planning Commission members shall represent insofar as possible different professions or occupations and geographic sections of the community and shall be appointed by the Village Council.  The term of each member so appointed shall be for a period of three years from the first day of January of the year in which he or she is appointed or until his or her successor takes office.  Annually, the Planning Commission shall recommend and the Village Council shall appoint a member of the Planning Commission to serve as a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, a member to serve as a member of the Parks and Recreation Board, and another member to serve as a member of the Water Management Board, for one year with terms to run on a calendar year basis.  Vacancies occurring otherwise than through expiration of the term shall be filled for the balance of the unexpired term by the Village Council.  Members of the Planning Commission may submit names of candidates to the Council for its consideration to fill any vacancies occurring during the unexpired term of a Commission member.
