(a) Short Title. The short title of this section shall be “The Swimming, Wading, Diving and Fishing Ordinance” and may be referred to and recited by reference thereto.
(b) Definitions. The following terms, as used in this section, shall have the meanings herein defined.
(1) Body of water shall mean any lake, river, pond, stream, creek or drain.
(2) Public park shall mean any property owned by the Village of Wolverine Lake and open to the public for recreational uses.
(3) Lands shall mean any real estate owned or controlled by the Village of Wolverine Lake and improvements thereon, including, but not necessarily limited to, roadways, sidewalks and bridges.
(c) Prohibitions. No person shall swim, wade, dive or fish in any public park area or from any public bridge owned by the Village of Wolverine Lake, or swim, wade, dive or fish in any body of water abutting any lands owned or controlled by the Village of Wolverine Lake.
