The penalties provided by the Michigan Vehicle Code are adopted by reference, provided, however, that the Village may not enforce any provision of the Michigan Vehicle Code for which the maximum period of imprisonment is greater than 93 days; except for a violation of M.C.L.A. 257.625(1)(c), which the Village adopts by reference in Chapter 410 of the Village Code of Ordinances in conformity with the Michigan Vehicle Code, Public Act 30 of 1949, as amended, and which shall constitute a misdemeanor punishable by one or more of the following: community service for not more than three hundred sixty (360) hours, imprisonment for not more than one hundred eighty (180) days, and a fine of not less than two hundred dollars ($200.00) or more than seven hundred dollars ($700.00).
