(a) Members of the Parks and Recreation Board shall be appointed to three-year terms that expire on January 1 of given years, except as otherwise noted in this chapter. Members from the Village Council and Planning Commission shall serve by reason of their office on a schedule approved by the Village Council not longer than three years or the balance of the member's term of office, whichever is less.
(b) Any Board member who misses twenty-five percent, but no less than two, of the Board's regular meetings in any calendar year, shall be deemed to have resigned from the Board, and his or her position shall be declared vacant.
(c) The existing terms of Parks and Recreation Board members serving at the time of the adoption of this chapter shall remain in effect subject to the conditions provided for in this chapter.
