208.13 SALE OF PROPERTY.
   Whenever any Village property, real or personal, is no longer needed for corporate or public purposes the same may be offered for sale. Personal property not exceeding one thousand, five hundred dollars ($1,500) value, or such other amount which may from time to time be established by the Council by resolution, may be sold for cash by the Agent upon approval of the Administrator. If the Administrator is not acting as the Agent, after receiving quotations or competitive bids therefor for the best price obtainable, property with a value in excess of one thousand, five hundred dollars ($1,500) may be sold after advertising and receiving competitive bids in accordance with this chapter and after approval of the sale has been given by the Council, or after Council approval only if the Council so authorizes such sale prior to its approval.
