The provisions of these regulations shall apply to all land, properties, buildings and structures located within the corporate limits of the town. Except as hereinafter otherwise provided, no land shall be used and no building, structure or improvement shall be made, erected, constructed, moved or altered except in accordance with the provisions contained in these regulations. These regulations shall remain in force until the comprehensive zoning ordinance is adopted, unless otherwise changed by the Board of Trustees, but in no case shall they continue in effect for more than 24 months after the date of adoption of these regulations.
