(A) The Board of Trustees shall consist of five members.
(B) The term of office for a Trustee shall be four years beginning at 12:00 noon on the second Monday following the general municipal election. The Trustee shall serve until his or her successor is elected and qualified.
(1) The terms of the Trustees shall be staggered so that at one general municipal election, the following Trustees are elected for four-year terms:
(a) Trustees; and
(b) Clerk.
(2) At the next general municipal election, the following officers are to be elected for four-year terms:
(a) Trustees from Ward Two; and
(b) Treasurer.
(C) The resolution of the Board of Trustees calling for a general or special election to fill the office of Trustee shall state the number of four-year terms and the number of unexpired terms, if any, to be filled.
