§ 6-1-4 ASSISTANCE TO ANOTHER COMMUNITY.
   Approval is hereby given for service of members of the regular Police Department of this town as police officers of any other town, city or county, in an emergency situation, in the state not more than 45 miles distance from the town, when such service is requested by the Mayor or Chief of Police of the city or town, or Sheriff of the county, in accordance with state law.
