§ 157.05 TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION STORAGE TRAILER REGULATIONS.
   Notwithstanding any provision of this chapter to the contrary, a temporary construction storage trailer shall be allowed on a temporary basis in any zoning district, subject to the following regulations:
   (A)   A permit from the Building Department shall be required;
   (B)   A permit shall be valid for 30 days from issuance, and may be renewed for no more than one additional 30-day time period;
   (C)   The trailer shall be parked on an impervious surface, such as concrete, asphalt or compacted gravel;
   (D)   The trailer shall not be parked in such a way as to block any necessary sight lines, regulatory or street signs, or to pose a safety hazard to motorists;
   (E)   The trailer shall be parked entirely upon private lands, and shall not cross over onto any municipal property or road easement, and it shall not be parked less than five feet from any adjoining or abutting property line;
   (F)   The trailer must be locked at all times when it is not being loaded or emptied so as to prevent children or other persons from becoming trapped inside it;
   (G)   The permit fee shall be as set by resolution or ordinance;
   (H)   The Director of Building, Planning and Zoning shall refuse to grant a permit for any trailer that is not, at his or her sole discretion, in a safe and sound condition.
