§ 153.036 LENGTH.
No block shall exceed 1300 feet in length or be less than 400 feet in length except where required by unusual topographic conditions. However, blocks of only one lot in width adjacent to expressways, major arterials, and collector roads shall have a minimum length of one-quarter mile as provided by the provisions of this chapter, unless other limitations preclude it. In long blocks, the village may require a reservation or an easement through the block to accommodate utilities, drainage facilities, or pedestrian traffic.
