§ 113.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   BATHING ESTABLISHMENTS. Any building, room, place, or establishment other than a regularly established and licensed hospital or dispensary wherein are given steam baths, steam vapor baths, electric tub baths, sponge baths, shower baths, sun baths, tub baths, mud baths, mineral baths, Finnish, Russian, Swedish, or Turkish baths, salt glows, massage, fomentation, electric or magnetic treatments, alcohol rubs, and rubs or massages with or without any other ingredients.
   MASSAGE ESTABLISHMENTS. Any building, room, place, or establishment other than a regularly licensed and established hospital or dispensary where nonmedical and nonsurgical manipulative exercises or devices are practiced upon the human body manually or otherwise by any person other than a licensed physician, surgeon, dentist, chiropractor, or osteopath with or without the use of therapeutic, electrical, mechanical, or bathing devices.

   TANNING SALON. Any building, room, place, or establishment wherein are given electric cabinet baths, electric light baths, sun baths, or any other method used to artificially induce tanning of the skin. ('79 Code, § 1516(1)) (Ord. 1984-O-7, passed 2-7-84)
