(A) No person shall bring, carry, or use in any way, knives, firearms, or other weapons of any kind, or any fireworks or other explosive substances of any kind in the park system. No person shall throw, cast, or shoot stones, arrows, or other missiles of any kind within the park system, except at such places and times as the park may designate for such purposes. No person shall carry or transport any weapon or missile in any vehicle in the park.
(B) This section shall not apply to police officers or members of the armed services while performing official business in the park.
