The village recognizes the traditional burning of leaves and other clean material, and also the health rights of those affected by inhalation of smoke and ash as well as the danger from uncontrolled fire and burning of certain noxious materials, in accordance with the Lake County Department of Health, the Illinois Environmental Protection Act, Illinois Administrative Code and the BOCA National Fire Prevention Code.
