§ 93.10 FIREWORKS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to discharge or set off any fireworks, or give or exhibit any pyrotechnic displays in the village; however, public displays which are licensed may be given at any time permitted by the license. No fireworks shall be discharged or set off within two blocks of any hospital in the village.
   (B)   No public exhibition of fireworks or pyrotechnics shall be given unless a permit therefor is first secured from the Board of Trustees. All such public displays shall be under the supervision of a competent person, and shall be superintended by the Chief of Police or some member of the Police or Fire Departments assigned to the duty.
   (C)   No person, firm, or corporation shall discharge or set off in the village or keep in the village with the intention of doing so any firecracker of more than four inches in length, toy cannon, cane for exploding potash, sulphur, or other dangerous explosive, so-called "Chinese bomb" or "American bomb" torpedo, or paper balloon or sky rocket rated at one pound or over. However, the fireworks mentioned in this division may be used in any licensed public pyrotechnic display under the proper supervision.
