§ 93.01 ADOPTION OF NATIONAL CODES BY REFERENCE.
   (A)   The following national regulations are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein:
      (1)   International Fire Code adopted. The 2006 International Fire Code of the International Code Council is hereby adopted as the basic Fire Prevention Code of the village; and each of all of the regulations, penalties, conditions, and terms of the 2006 International Fire Code are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter.
      (2)   The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) No. 101 Life Safety Code 2015 Edition including any and all future amendments as deemed necessary by the Fire Department are hereby adopted.
      (3)   The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) National Fire Codes Volumes 1–12 and parts 1 and 2 2007 including any and all future amendments as deemed necessary by the Fire Department are hereby adopted.
   (B)   These regulations, as adopted herein, shall be known as the village Fire Prevention Code.
   (C)   The purpose and the intent of the village Fire Prevention Code is to prescribe minimum requirements and controls to safeguard life, property, or public welfare from the hazards of fire and explosion arising from the storage, handling, or use of substances, materials, or devices and from conditions hazardous to life, property, or public welfare in the use or occupancy of buildings, structures, sheds, tents, lots, or premises.
