(A) At any time it shall be unlawful to permit any vehicle to stand in any of the following places except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the direction of a police officer or traffic signal:

(B) At any time it shall be unlawful to permit any vehicle to stand in the following location or locations for a continuous period of more than four hours:
Community Center Parking Lot north of 7th Street, east of Sheridan Road.
(C) There is established a fee-based parking system for vehicles parked in the METRA station parking lot located west of the Union Pacific rail line and north of 7th Street, and with respect to that lot, the following regulations shall apply:
(1) No vehicle larger than a standard automobile or single-axle pickup truck shall be permitted to park in that lot at any time.
(2) The owner or operator of any vehicle parking in that lot at any time between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm on any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (except legal holidays recognized by the state) shall pay a fee in the amount of$1.75 per day or any part thereof.
(3) No fee shall be charged for vehicles parked in that lot at any other time.
(4) In lieu of the daily fee set forth in division (D)(2) hereinabove, the owner or operator of a vehicle parking in that lot may purchase a parking pass good for a period of up to six months for a fee of $175.
(5) Any vehicle parked in that lot during the times set forth in division (C)(2) hereinabove shall have proof of payment of the daily fee or six-month pass by having the receipt or pass set in a location on the front dash or windshield so that it is readily readable at all such times by village staff enforcing the provisions of this code.
(D) Penalty. Any person found violating any provision of this parking schedule shall be subject to the penalty provisions set forth in § 72.99.
