Pursuant all applicable police powers and authority, the village hereby adopts in their entirety the sections of the State of Illinois Vehicle Code relating to operation, registration and safety relative to boats and other watercraft as set forth in ILCS Ch. 625, Act 45, § 4-1 et seq. (Article IV), ILCS Ch. 625, Act 45, §§ 5-1 et seq. (Article V) as they currently exist, and as they may hereafter be amended, and the same are adopted as ordinance provisions of the village. Any ticket or complaint charging a violation of this chapter and the adopted provisions incorporated herein may note that the offense is being charged as a violation of municipal law, but may also describe the specific offense using the statutory section number from the state statutes.
