§ 52.040 PERMIT REQUIRED.
   No person, firm, or corporation shall construct a driveway for vehicles across any public sidewalk or parkway in the village without having first obtained a permit therefor. Applications for such permits shall be made to the Village Clerk. No permit for construction of a driveway for commercial use, or for the habitual use of other than the owner or occupant of the premises served, shall be issued except upon the order of the Building Inspector. Any person constructing a driveway under any permit shall save and keep the village free, clear, and harmless from any loss or liability on account of any accident or damages resulting from such occupation or use. The Building Inspector shall inspect the construction of said driveway. All construction shall conform to all rules and regulations of the village.
